From 15 to 19 August we will try to build a bio- and chemistry lab. De WAR has collected a lot of laboratory equipment through the years and now we feel ready to put it all in one room, see what we can get to work and make the rest of what we need to run an open bio lab.
The focus of the lab will be on soil analysis, analysis of fungi for bio-remediation and on detection of GMO contamination of food.
We would also like to be able to have workshops for children and adults, teaching them to do their own analyses.
If you feel like building equipment, fixing our GCMS, making low cost microscopes etc. or if you want to teach us how to use the equipment, please contact Diana.
The goal is to set up the lab from 15 to 19 and them open with a workshop during the conference on 20 or 21 August.
